It works well on small or young plants. The center push base is wablly and does not fit well.

This device works great for bending branches on my large Bonsai. It is also useful for bending trunks on smaller younger trees that are just to thick, and hard to wire. I now own several of these benders. Very easy to use as long as you are bending them gradually, and not all at once, or you can risk breaking your bonsai branch or trunk. Slowly bending the branch or trunk a little at a time over months works best.
