Very sturdy with pads on the base to protect your surfaces. High quality with a great look for a reasonable price. I'm very satisfied. One was slightly bent because the packaging was flimsy but I was able to straighten it without difficulty.

I was really impressed with the quality of the bookends. The pads underneath are going to keep it from scratching but also the metal felt solid. They will definitely do the job of keeping the books in place and also looking nice doing the job.

I like to start with the positive, so here are my likes after receiving my order:Love the design, it's exactly as pictured â¤They are thin and don't stand out, I already have decor on my shelves and needed slim but sturdy/functional bookends ðŸ‘Dislikes:2 if the 6 I received were bent. That was disappointing, but I didnt want to bother with a replacement, I bent them back to be as straight as I could and put them on the shelf with my books.There is more lean than I expected after reading other reviews that called these bookends very sturdy and could handle heavy books. My book weight is about medium and I do have lean.All in all, happy with my purchase and really love the design and how slim they are
