The cat design is so cute and really looks like the cats are popping out of the side of the books but the grips on the bottom of the base do not stay. I found it easier to remove each of the plastic non-slip grips and reattach them using crazy glue to get them to stay on. So far that has worked and I haven't had any issues of them falling off. They are fairly sturdy despite the design concept, I honestly thought they wouldn't stand on their own and need the books to stay upright... I was wrong. They are the perfect size for the location in which they were needed and hold the 12 books perfectly in place. This product was a bit more on the expensive side for the amount I wanted to spend on 1 book weight set but totally worth it. They are bit on the heavy side due to material it's made from but they function perfectly. Thank you so much for this cute added addition to my decor.

I adore these things; they're an excellent addition to my bookshelf. There are rubbery pads on the bottom to prevent scraping, which I appreciate, and they look excellent and seem good quality in craft.My only complaints are that because they're so thin (usually bookends are 4-5 inches wide) they're a bit difficult to position, and struggle with holding up heavier books. It's also a shame that they're one-sided, so you're stuck with the direction the cats face without it looking a little off. None of these issues are dealbreakers for me though, just things to be aware of. Really nice overall!

The Ecqizer Peeping Cat Metal Bookends are absolutely adorable! My daughter has two black cats, so this was the perfect gift for her place. Not only are they cute, but they’re also sturdy and functional. She loved them, and they add such a charming touch to her shelves. Highly recommend for any cat lover!
