the look was also, we used it for a top of a shelf of our record collection, it is very cute looking, but more importantly it holds the albums in place.

These are very nice bookends. They seem sturdy. We are using them to hold vinyl records.

I bought 2 sets of these for my cookbook shelves and they are perfect. They are made well and have enough weight to them that I actually have them facing out (see pics) on the ends that show with no worries about the books sliding. The other two I have with the bottom under the books. Both ways work.

While these were poorly packaged (arrived with packaging ripped open), the bookends managed to be unscathed. They appear to be sturdy, and manage to keep heavy cookbooks in place. Removed one star due to suboptimal packaging.

I was looking for book ends to hold my cookbooks in my pantry and these are perfect! They were affordable, perfectly themed, and do a good job of holding up my various cook books. I definitely recommend them! Easy set up and sturdy and stylish!
