These pliers do a great job a what they do, but the little metal spring on mine keep coming out. Once that spring is out the plier become very frustrating to use. I've had to glue the spring in so it stays more often. The handles are sturdy plastic that have held up for my use. If you just need pliers for the occasional use then these are cheap enough to give it a shot.

Love these pliers for crimping eavestrough downpipe at work and many other applications. Bought them as they actually have a real spring and not just two leaf spring type things in the hinge that never last.

I used these whilst repairing drum brake components and these are great when trying to manage the springs that need to come off and go back on again. They are long enough, strong enough and can get the job done. For the price I think they are great and were cheaper, on this occasion, than my local stores. A great toolbox staple!
