I do not know what these other people are complaining about... you should never just trust amazons compatibility... always double check with the manufactures site.It fit my 97 civic LX perfect. It has a very nice gloss black finish, it appeared well constructed for such a low price, I put it on and torqued the crap out of it and it didn't break on me.. probably because I did a proper tightening pattern, and its plastic not metal so don't over do it. the screws fit just perfect so I don't know what the other guy is complaining about in his review. I would defiantly buy this again and likely will when the time comes.

Perfect fit for my 95 civic Si, D16Z6New screws and O-ring is includedCap looks just like the OEM Honda one that I replaced.I was going to go the Honda route again but decided to give Bosch a try, I had luck on previous VWs with Bosch. My dealer wanted $28 dollars for the cap, so this one is a bargain, but still looks much better quality than the normal local part store china junk.Underside of the cap is stamped, Made in Japan.I took one star off because as another reviewer stated, the screws are not held captive in the cap, like the OEM honda parts. This does make the lower one a little more challenge to install/remove, without dropping. But at half the price for what looks like exactly the same cap, ill happily live with that.

There are 2 distributors used on the F23A1. This isn't mentioned in the listing. Amazon just says it fits.

Installed easily and is working fine so far. The kit came with a rubber O ring type gasket which my old cap did not have. Takes a bit of doing to get this gasket positioned to stay in place for an air tight fit but I managed it. The cap could definitely be installed without it but thought I'd give it a try since it was included. I could swear I'm hearing less noise out of my engine with the gasket installed. In any case, all is well that fits well. :-)Installed on a '99 Honda Civic LX, 4 door sedan.

A 1999 Honda Accord LX has a V-Tech Engine. This part does not fit a V-Tech Engine so I had to send it back. When Model LX is selected this part should not be specified. Unfortunately, it cost me to return it.

The part looks to be of equivalent quality to Honda part at 1/2 price. Easy install, perfect fit, running perfect. Only negative compared to Honda part is the 3 mounting screws were not retained in the part, they were loose...no issue to me but may be an issue to others. Name brand, quality construction, excellent price. I'll keep coming back.

Description was not clear as to the application on my Honda. Got the part and did not fit. Then when I sent it back I needed to pay for return shipping despite the fact that I indicated the website description was incorrect. After research I figured out that there where two different ignition's for the "same" motor and you would need to get the motor code or the type of ignition system. Motor code is a the five digit code on the font of the engine to the left of the exhaust manifold. The name of the Ignition Type is Either Hitachi or TEC even though the cap may be made by Bosch for example. The name of the Ignition type should be ON THE CAP between two of the spark plug wire connections.
