This planer does a great job! I recently purchased 4 ruff hewned 8x8x8 pine timbers and hand planed them with this product. It is light weight, easy to adjust the cutting depth, and very easy to use. It's easy to change/replace the blades (2) and it's everything that I needed to do the job. I didn't like the bag but didn't really need as I did the planning outside. All in all...it's a very good product for the cost and it comes with a hard carrying case.

This tool is nice and stable. The cuts are gorgeous. The motor can be heard over the noise from my shop vac, but not oppressively so (unlike some others). Comes with a bag, a guide, a tool for changing the blades, a big case ... did not come with the adapters that I needed for connecting it to my vac, but I knew that in advance. I have only planed a couple pine boards with it, but - wow! So much easier than my jack plane .... like, worlds apart. When i hooked this planer up to my shop vac, not only was the Bosch less noisy than I was expecting, it was incredibly clean as well. Definitely one of my new favorite tools.I would still recommend keeping a jack plane around, for finishing the fine details, anyways. At least, for the time being. That may change. I am very glad that I spent the money on this tool, and this specific brand.

BOSCH Cepilladora manual para carpintería de 3-1/4 pulgadas con estuche de transporte, PL2632K.La cepilladora la compre hace aproximadamente 2 años en Amazon, y solo ahora lo probé, y me doy cuenta que cuando lo pongo en "0" para que no corte nada de material, o pulido de material, La cepilladora sigue extrayendo material, por lo que no tiene un control exacto de la profundidad de corte o pulido en el material que se quiere trabajar, lo cual no lo hace la mejor herramienta, solo me gustaría saber cómo se ajusta el que el "0" sea en realidad un "0", que tengo que mover?, que tornillo Aprieto o aflojo para ajustarlo?, ya que el ajuste deja mucho que desear, yo poseo varias herramientas Bosch, y esta es la primera que tiene un inconveniente, y por eso no puedo decir que si la recomiendo, ya que estoy que si y que no.También tiene un problema en la extracción de las virutas de madera, ya que la mayoría se van fuera de la bolsa de recolección que trae, aproximadamente el 90% de las virutas, por lo que no es el mejor sistema de recolección de desperdicios, si esta herramienta se puede ajustar y corregir el error del CASI "0", tendría una estrella más, pero sigue con la recolección de virutas de madera que es muy mala.El cepillo tiene las cuchillas originales de carburo de tungsteno, y por lo que veo no se pueden ajustar en profundidad, ya que el manual no lo explica, solo explica para las cuchillas de acero.ACTUALIZACIÓNEsta es una actualización del comentario anterior, Ya que nadie me dijo como ajustar las cuchillas de carburo de tungsteno que trae, pasados dos días, desarme la cepilladora, y el sistema de ajuste de las cuchillas de tungsteno es igual a las cuchillas de acero, solo que vienen con un montaje fijo por tornillos con pintura amarilla, retire la pintura, y pude ajustar las cuchillas con el mismo sistema que con las de acero, que es el, BOSCH PA1206 HSS accesorio de nivelación de cuchillas para cepilladora 1594 y para la PL2632K y hay que comprarlo por aparte, cosa que debería estar incluida, y al probar el ajuste me di cuenta que las cuchillas quedaban por debajo del borde de la base y por eso sobresalían cuando estaba la cepilladora en “0”, al ajustar como se indica para las cuchillas de acero, la cepilladora ahora si esta en que “0” es “0”, espero que les sirva la información por cualquier desvío de las cuchillas, ya saben cómo ajustarlas, aunque el cepillo no trae la base totalmente nivelada, como la mayoría de las cepilladoras eléctricas y las manuales y eso hay que ajustarlo con papel de lija.Como dije antes, si encontraba como ajustar las cuchillas le daba una estrella más, aunque por la base no nivelada y por las virutas no recogidas por la bolsa, no se merece las 5 estrellas.

Love my new planer and the deal I got on it. Very smooth and sharp Bosch lasts forever too I only got a new one cuz my 20 year old one had been dropped and to fix it was nearly as much as buying this new one. I also got extra assecories and a case too so can't beat it!

Works fine for project working on. Fairly light weight and easy to handle. Guide bar was not 90 degrees to plane angle when used. Noise level is bearable.

There are plenty of choices in electric hand planes from occasional use to what might be called investment grade. The Bosch falls in or near the latter. The cutter-depth is easy to adjust with good detents (beginning at 1/64") and if you plan to do a lot of planing, that's important. The motor has soft-start, which is helpful for a powerful, high RPM tool.I already had a 50+ y.o. Rockwell, BUT it was purpose-built for narrower wood (eg doors) and the side fence is non-removable. This model comes with a removable fence that seems to be easily adjusted (I put it on, tested the fit and adjusters but then took it right off since I was eager to experiment with wider slab-like boards.) So far in 2-3 hours' use it does a fantastic job. I pushed it a time or two (on well-seasoned oak and poplar) just to see where the motor started to bog, but in most any normal use, I don't forsee a problem. The Bosch has an overall solid feel comparable to the old (but still great running) Rockwell.Other than initial cost, I can think of no real shortcomings or criticisms.

Es muy buena, no se van a arrepentir si la compran. Trabaja muy bien y la calidad es excelente como siempre. Deja la madera prácticamente lisa, al cepillar una tabla de grandes dimensiones se me hizo un poco complicado porque deja muy marcados los rebajes laterales, aunque configures la profundidad al mínimo. Es como si trazaras una linea como una carretera en la madera, y luego eliminar los bordes se complica porque haces mas pasadas y formas otros bordes y al final se hace un desmadre. Ya estuve practicando para eliminar esos bordes tienes que levantar la maquina a pulso 1 o 2 mm mientras la pasas por la madera y luego terminas con una buena lijada. Lo que no me gustó es que la maquina se calienta muchísimo después de unos minutos de uso continuo, si tocas la parte lateral de aluminio te puedes quemar. La bolsa si viene de muy mala calidad y se deshila muy fácil. En general si te facilita mucho trabajar la madera, hasta ahora sigue afilada la cuchilla. cuando pierda filo pueden comprar la original por $300 o una truper de $50. yo compre la truper....

Excelente máquina volveré a comprar otra sin duda alguna!!! La utilizo en mi taller y se trabaja a gusto con ella por eso doy 5 estrellas!!!

I was searching for a new planner and saw a Perkins brothers review on YouTube. They recommended this planner for finish work.The finish surface is so smooth you can go straight to 180 grit sand paper.Works well on soft and hard wood (maple, oak and ash, so far).The collection bag has limited capacity but cuts the chip mess down if you’re working inside a home.It doesn’t fit the hose on my shop vac. I’m looking for the proper adapter.

For a single cutter blade, I'm impressed. Very quiet and smooth. Does a fantastic job . Dust collection bag fills up quickly. Accurate planing. Easy to use. I would recommend this.
