The gauge features a 3-3/8" black dial face with a 250 degree sweep and chrome bezel with mounting hardware. Compatible with 4, 6, and 8 cylinder engines and has an adjustable redline pointer. No issues with the needle bouncing like some other reviews said. Very good for the price. It's responsive and seems fairly accurate. The case was put together pretty well, but I didn't use it because I was installing it in the dash. I had to 3d print a mount for that so I'll share files for that when I get the chance. The face was slightly smaller than the hole in the gauge cluster but adding a small bezel fixed that. I also didn't use the light, but the easily replaceable bulb is pretty nice.

The only issue I had was with the black wire protective cover. It has been bent and folded multiple times, and a rubber band wrapped around it has made the liner unusable. After unwrapping it, it became impossible to restore to its original condition.

This tach looks similar to an old Sun Tach that I had many years ago. Except the case is plastic not metal. It is easy to mount and hook up. I mounted it on the steering column in my 1986 Dodge Ram camper van. Very solid mount had to buy a 4 inch diameter steel hose clamp at the hardware store. This thing is mounted solid it's not going anywhere! Seems very accurate and stable read out. Wanted to monitor my engine RPM when pulling grades in mountain areas in second gear. It's perfect for not over reving my little 318 V-8. Also like the retro look of the 1960's, perfect on a nearly 40 year old camper van.

This is designed for ON dash or ON steering column mounting. Mine was an IN DASH install so it took a little fiddling to make it work. Once in, it's nice and solid. light is bright enough. Needle is steady and there is no lag or bounce.

Put on a 1950 flathead 230 6cyl. Works great and was easy to install. Did have to use my own hose clamp but it was not an issue. Very happy with how it looks and works!

Was comparing a few different brands. Ultimately went with this one. Works fine, looks nice. I don't drive my truck enough to put it to the test but I'm sure it will last a long time
