As is with many products that are manufactured in ROC (Republic of China) the quality is terrible and this gauge never worked from the day I installed it. The instructions were terrible. I am a mechanic with a lot of electrical experience and I had to rely on my experience to make sure the tachometer was wired correctly. After I got it installed and started the engine I realized the tach was not reading correctly and I double checked the wiring to make sure it was correct, it was correct. I have re ordered a tachometer made in USA.I am confident it will be of higher quality and perform well. I am now trying to get the product returned to Amazon. By the way, Amazon is very good and fair when I have had a problem with a product that was not as advertised.

pretty easy to setup, made adjustments for my 2 cylinder 2 stoke. There are two engines so I wouldn't say it is perfect as its slightly off from the factory tach on engine one, but pretty good.
