Your cart is empty.This tachometer displays 0 to 8000 RPM in 100 RPM increments and has the popular black racing tachometer design. It is provided with back-lit illumination for night use and an original equipment manufacturer style lighted pointer. It has a full 270-degree sweep for increased visibility and works on conventional and electronic ignition systems. The installation adaptors are sold separately.

It was simple enough to wire in to HEI distributor. I have no idea how close it is to reflecting engine RPM, but is looks and sounds close enough by ear. I mostly got it to fill in for a speedometer just so i kind of have a clue what the engine runs at for speeds.

Bought a 78 Blazer without a factory tach, and it still has the stock sbc 350 and TH350 transmission in it. I was worried about driving the truck home without knowing where the RPM's were so this did the job perfectly. and easy enough to install I did it in a matter of a few minutes

I installed this on a 84 Square Body and took it on a 1,550 mile road trip. Worked great the whole time. The instructions are pretty clear and easy to follow. The needle is a little tough to move but I suppose that’s intentional. Looks good on the dash. No idea if it was accurate but it helped monitor my speed because my speedometer is nonfunctional.

This tach is mounted on my steering column and doesn't block my view of the fuel gauge...works great...no issues

Not sure if this inexpensive tach will last, but so far so good. Make sure your distributor has a tach connection as that is the best practice for installation. Obviously a good ground is necessary too. Seems accurate based upon comparison with my timing light. Also small and easy to locate in vehicle.
