This mixer has a lot of power and offers a wide variety of utensil options, which allows for great versatility while cooking or baking. It's impressive how it can easily handle different types of mixtures, from thick doughs to light creams. One of my favorite features is the lid that goes over the top while mixing. This thoughtful design element ensures that you don’t lose any ingredients and helps prevent a messy countertop, which can often happen with traditional mixers. I also appreciate how easy it is to switch out the attachments depending on the task at hand. Whether I’m whipping up a batch of cookies or preparing a fluffy cake batter, this mixer makes the process effortless and enjoyable. Overall, it has truly enhanced my cooking experience, making it more efficient and certainly less chaotic!

I am so glad I finally pushed to purchase button. I have a professional Kitchenaid mixer, however I really like using the Bosch. It is quiet and is able to hold a large amount like my Kitchenaid. I paid more for the K itchenaid so I would say this Bosch is a great value for money. I love how easy it is to add ingredients to the bowl and it has a lid to completely cover it so flour does not go all over kitchen. I was impressed with how easy to use, and easy to clean. There are several different attachments and it works well. My opinion is you can’t go wrong with this.

Very strong and reliable. I have owned this mixer for over a year now and can recommend this Bosch mixer over the KitchenAid mixer which I also have. I make a loaf of bread weekly and this machine could accommodate the dough for 4 or 5 loves easily. I have made a double chocolate chip cookie recipe for the cookie dough paddles and it mixed easily without crushing the chips. Also the suction cups on the bottom hold the machine and does not move. No problem with any of the plastic parts. My only wish would be an option to add a smaller bowl.

I ordered this to compare to my vintage Bosch (the original version of this mixer) from the 70s. This is pretty similar to that old Bosch with the following improvements:-suction cup feet so the mixer doesn't walk around (or off) the counter while kneading dough-a bowl with a lip to surround the lid ring (this prevents the lid from popping off on large batches)-the bowl edge is turned down like a little umbrella which gives improved gripping for transportThe motor of both the old and new is of similar power. I find it to bog down more than I prefer with large batches (above 7 lbs) of dough. I've made up to 5200g (11.2 lbs) of dough in this mixer and it will do it but it's a strain on the motor. One other drawback (or advantage depending on how you prefer to proof your dough) is that this mixer really heats up the dough. It'll go from 65 or 70F up to 110F in 7 minutes of kneading. I personally prefer to keep the dough at room temp. A work around is to add ice to the water to knock the temp down before hand. So, although I don't like the heating, it's something that can be dealt with.I will be returning the mixer and instead ordering a stainless bowl for my old Bosch mixer. I believe it may help with this heating issue. Additionally, it does away with the center column for a little more space for dough (about 200 additional grams). I ordered this mainly to compare and see if it was worth upgrading. I think the refinements are probably worth the price difference. But I instead am going to put that cost difference toward a stainless bowl and the drive/dough hook to match ($350 new just for this bowl and accessories!).I'd used a 1981 Kitchenaid by Hobart for years and although an excellent mixer, the Bosch is also good product with a proven long lifespan. The Bosch can make 2x the amount of dough and the lid system is a lot cleaner than the open bown of the Kitchenaid.I highly recommend ANY Bosch Universal Mixer!

I cannot say enough good things about this mixer. The capacity is amazing and it can handle large quantities without missing a beat. It's also low profile enough to sit out on the counter without feeling like it's taking up a ton of valuable real estate. I also purchased some of the accessories and they all work well. I had a bowl-lift Kitchenaid before and I wish I had known about the Bosch before I got it. The Bosch is so much easier to use and can do larger batches without struggling like the Kitchenaid sometimes did. Worth every penny!

I like everything about this mixer, powerful, wide open top with lid. The wide top easily lets you add ingredients and the lid holds dough and ingredients inside and does not let them fly out as in standard mixers. You can use this mixer for everything but I will still use my kitchenaid for cookies cakes etc. I highly recommend this mixer for homemade bread making.

I wished I didn’t have my kitchenaid but the Bosch is the best thing ever. It is so easy to clean and I’m almost using it everyday. A month later I bought the blender bowl for it and am impressed with it. Doesn’t chop as fine as my Vitamix but haven’t used it much. Very satisfied. Would definitely buy the beater bowl scraper and the dough extension. The kitchenaid is a workhorse and use only for pasta now.
