I've been scouring Amazon for an adapter for my Sweepy CNC router dust boot to my 2.5" shop vac hose and it is frustrating because no one includes ID and OD for each end of their connector, let alone tapers and lengths. I hope I help someone else out here. I bought this Bosch VAC020 adapter because another reviewer said it fit their Sweepy and I went on faith. Here are the actual dimensions in case you are trying to put something together that isn't a Sweepy.The small end OD is tapered and starts at 34.6mm and expands to nearly 37mm so it will cover anything in that range.The large end is 2.43 inches OD and 2.3 inches ID, and I did that in inches because that's how many shop vac hoses are listed but in the pics there are exact measurements and you can convert to MM if you need.As far as quality, it's great. Not much you can get wrong in a 6" long piece of plastic but it is not hard or brittle so it should be a great addition to any dust collection system that needs these size openings.Sweepy says their dust port fits Festool and Fein hoses but those start at $60 and go wayyyy up, at ten bucks this is a very affordable alternative that works great.

I use this to connect my Bosch Miter saw to my Shop Vac, per the Bosch manual. Stays put and gives good suction.

Space and finances forced me to get rid of the large and poorly working dust collector in my woodworking shop. I replaced it with a dust cyclone that attaches to my shop vacuum.This adapter allows me to connect the large collector hose to the smaller ports on some of my power tools.

Is made of a hard plastic. Would be nice if made of a more flexible material. Time will tell if it will hold up. It does fit.

There are different standards for vacuum hoses in the US and in Europe. In the US, we use inch-based diameters, in Europe everything is metric, and 35 mm is a standard for dust ports. 35 mm is not compatible with any US standards, and no US-made adapter would match. This adapter fits 35 mm dust port (e.g., on Festool Kapex miter saw) and enables one to connect a tool with a dust port manufactured to a European standard (35 mm) with a US-made 2.5" vacuum hose. For this purpose, it does what it is intended to do. Thank you Bosch for making it - as far as I can tell, no other supplier cares to offer an adapter like this.

I have a bosch orbital sander that was listed in the supported models section but this item doesn't fit it. This item fits over the output dust port on the sander but it is very loose and won't stay on due to a 1/4" gap around the outlet.

It was the only adapter that I could find to adapt the 35 millimeter output of my mitre saw to my dust collection system. just one more reasons why I think everything should be standardized. In United States we use the Imperial System, therefore I think that everything imported to the United States should be required to have the Imperial System and not the Metric System. Likewise I think that all automobiles in America should be required to have the gas filler cap on the drivers side of the car. I have seen so many dis respectful drivers cut off people at gas stations because their gas filler cap is on the wrong side of the car and sometimes it leads to out right fist fights when the offended driver has to be someplace in the inconsiderate driver cut them off. I think Congress should institute a rule that all cars manufactured in the United States and all cars imported into the United States should have the gas filler cap on the driver side of the car.

Same size as dust ejection port on my CSMS. Unusable there. All other options for this tool fit inside the ejection port, further restricting airflow at the most narrow point.Will fit with some other (smaller) Bosch tools but, again, it fits inside the port, not on the outside where it could be more effective. The tools' dust control is nowhere nearly as efficient as Festool so I have a hard time paying Festool-like money for the Bosch portable dust collection system when it is inherently limited (by tool design) from being very effective.I really like my Bosch tools but the dust collection issues have been very frustrating!

I purchased this adapter to link my Bosch SDS dust extraction masonry bits with by vacuum. Adapter provides a perfect fit on its own without any additions.

Having a good dust control system is very important to the quality of wood products you are completing. The proper finish (one without dust particles visible in the final product) makes the piece all the more valuable. I have built a dust control system that is used in each piece of equipment in my workshop. The adapters I have purchased allow each piece of equipment to be connected to the dust control system. Each piece of equipment has its own unique setup and port sizes. The port adapters allow for complete flexibility in the set up.

Just fits perfectly with Bosch CS10 in one side and shop-vac hose on the other side. It does exactly what it supposed to do. ..
