I used to have the step covers that used the springs. The problem with those step covers is that eventually the step cover begins to move - even becoming slippery when you step on it over time.These step covers stay put because they use very large, very strong hook and loop on the back to hold them in place.They were slightly too wide for my Moryde steps, but that was very easily solved with a pair of scissors - I trimmed a little off of both sides until they fit just right.You'll also like the way these look - I chose the blue/gray color and they look great on my steps. Good quality, easy to install, looks nice, dog loves them , dad loves them because dog will go down the steps now.

These work great. Easy to install. Stay put. Look nice & fit well. However - they are listed as black but they are not black so they don’t match our camper very well. They are more of a gray- blue color not even remotely black. I kept them as we were leaving the very next day to go camping and needed to use them but I’m not thrilled with how they look. But if you don’t care about things like that then I’d highly recommend them.

The steps came with some, but they were quite narrow, so I bought these, to keep the dogs who go in/out of the trailer on the steps from freezing or burning their paws !!. The covers have been rained on and withstood the desert sun. They are still in place, never moved from the spot placed them!Very pleased.

The application process is easy. We didn't know it when we ordered but they are easily removable to wash. The quality of the product seems great. We have used them for a few weeks now and we absolutely love it to keep from tracking dirt into our RV. Great value for what you pay. They aren't Thick enough to effect are steps going in or out, but plenty thick to be durable. I suspect these will last quite a while!
