I got the purple for me and the gray for my husband. They’re lovely pottery with pretty colors and a good tea cup. The insert for loose tea is very fine and of very nice quality. It’s not just a little thing that falls in or falls over, it’s substantial. The lid is of nice quality and has a lip in it so it fit the cups well. The only thing I would change is the packaging. It arrived perfectly, no chips or issues but it’s a lot of styrofoam. But, overall, a very impressive set for the price! I will be buying again for more gifts.

This is one of my favorite cups. I used it at home and then took it to work. It is as beautiful as it is functional. It's a really good product and the price was really good when I bought it as well.

UPDATED RATING: As soon as the seller became aware of the problem, they reached out to correct it. They offered either a refund or a replacement. At my request, they replaced the cup I had received with another that had the correct size strainer. The new cup is beautiful and the strainer works great. I love it! But oddly, I received a refund in addition to the replacement cup. I think it must be because I initiated a return with Amazon, but the seller also reached out to me independently, in response to my original review, in an effort to correct the issue. Many thanks to the seller for going above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.â€-------------------The cup is pretty, but the mesh strainer does not rest flush against the top of the cup; therefore, the cup lid won't sit flat against the top of the cup. I don't understand because the cups in the seller's picture don't do that...

THIS WAS A GIFT FOR A FRIEND WHO WANTED A CUP WITH A CERAMIC COVER. Item was well packed and exceeded what I was expecting. It is well made and even had a metal filter if you wanted to use it for tea. Will get one for myself soon!
