So, I knocked two of my co-workers nice mugs off of her shelf and smashed them to pieces. I felt terrible. I wanted to replace them and found these mugs and gave them to her as an "I'm sorry I'm a klutz" gift. Honestly... these mugs are SO MUCH nicer then the ones I smashed. These are not the cheap lightweight ceramic that chips and breaks so easily. The rounded shape feels nice when holding with two hands. The 21oz capacity is generous but not monstrously big. AND the color is very nice. I bought the "Grey" and it is a lovely shade of blue and grey.I ordered myself one today.

Love this coffee mug! It is the perfect size and easy to hold. Plus I love the look of pottery and it has a great color and look. Dishwasher safe. Not super heavy! Going to buy more!

I like a large cup of coffee. I use the Cuisinart single cup brewer set for a 12 oz cup of coffee then add half and half. There is plenty of room in this cup so you don't spill any liquids when you walk carrying it. The handle fits well in my hand. I have arthritis in my hands and have no problem carrying this mug. I love the colors. I have the blue brown colored mugs. Each one is slightly different. I have purchased 3 so far but will probably add 3 more to my collection. I did drop one and as it went down thought. "Oh no, I broke it" but after careful examination no damage was done. Not even a chip! I don't advise you to try dropping it but it's a lovely sturdy mug.

Remember those really sturdy mugs that used to be commonplace?Unfortunately this isn't one of those. I was hoping it would be. On a positive note, it really does hold a lot of volume (two large cups of coffee according to my Keurig). And because of that volume it does keep the coffee somewhat hot.Alas, I really am looking for something I can't seem to find, which is probably something more like a mug hewn from granite by Viking warriors and heat-cured in a summer solstice bonfire festival as wolves howl at midnight. You know, sturdy, strong, unbreakable.Of course people don't make such things very much these days, but one can hope. The search continues...That being said, I will probably keep using this one until I find something better.
