Heard about this stuff on "Insider Carpentry" YouTube channel, along with an abrasive pad that Spencer Lewis (the finish carpenter) uses in conjunction with it to clean up and treat machined cast iron equipment surfaces, e.g. table saw, band saw, planer bed, lathe bed, etc. If you're a finish carpenter, or just interested in the craft, get on this guy's channel. I've been a general contractor for over 45 years, a carpenter for most of the time since 1963, done a fair amount of finish work, and this guy is in his 30's - I have learned a LOT from him. I got a house a couple of years ago the needed serious renovation - I completely replaced the interior finish (doors, window trim, base board, etc.) - even as a pretty old guy it was a fun project, largely due to what I picked up from Spencer - he's a good guy.Another product I discovered that I like a lot so far is called "Slipit". It is a non oily lubricant that isn't supposed to collect sawdust and protects from rust. I have several woodworking vices (Yost brand will give you a good picture of what they look like) that have two round shafts that the jaw slides on. They get sticky and tend to rust as well - I cleaned up and treated these with Slipit and am amazed with how smoothly they work now. They are quick release, so you can make large adjustments in how far open they are and used to be very hard to move this way - now they're smooth and easy to adjust.

I do woodworking and use this to lube the top of my table saw, plate of my circular saw and the feed screws in my saw for raising the blade and tilting the blade. I use it where normal lubricant will just attract wood dust and gum up. It is not cheap but it works

It's important for wood and other materials to go through the blade on my table saw easily and predictably. This stuff is great. It doesn't affect the wood and is just the right slickness. It helped a lot after I had to clean off some light rust with some pitting (my mistake). It is easy to apply and buffs out nice.

I’ve used this product for many years, both as a Bostik product and as formerly sold under the Sandaro name. It works just fine. It was always high priced, but I use only about one can per year, so I accepted the pricing. The last three cans cost $23.00, but now the price offered is about $33.00, which is so bizarrely overpriced that I decided to go back to Turtlewax Hard Shell Finish, which is basically car wax, and I was surprised that it works as well as this does on cast iron machine tables and for woodworking applications. I’d buy this again if the price returns to a reasonable one, however until then, I’m happy with Turtlewax.By the way, the spray nozzles on the last two cans have performed poorly, clogging and spitting, and not working at all at the cold temperatures in an unheated shop in winter. I needed to heat the cans before they’d spray right, which I don’t recall as a problem with the product in prior years.

While reducing friction on the tops of stationary power tools is nice, I value how this spray coating also protects my hand tools from damaging rust. Swamp cooling adds a lot of humidity in the summer which adversely affects the surface quality of many of my steel tools - pliers, chisels, squares, etc. After removing any damaging rust with a rust eraser, this coating sealed the steel, preventing any further surface erosion for going on for two years now without requiring me to reapply this coating.I also began using this spray on router bearings to stave off freezing. Even though the bearings are sealed, they still seem to benefit from a little help to keep them turning freely.

Used this on my old Delta table saw. I had to remove a lot of rust from the surface of the top. Once i did and applied the Top Cote it has not rusted since. My garage is not climate controlled and it has been exposed to some moisture without issues. Not to mention it kept it slick and easy to push my materials thru. Great Stuff.

Helps save the cutting edge and protects the wood projects from burning.

I made the terrible assumption the price of $115.00 on this was for a package of spray cans, not for a single can. This is 2-1/2 times the price you should normally pay. Total rip off.
