Your cart is empty. This Bostitch manual hammer tacker is ideal for roofing, house wrap and insulation jobs, and features an easy-to-use anti-jam loading mechanism. When working on roofs or other inclined surfaces, the no-slip rubber bumpers prevent the tacker from sliding away when not in use. When working for longer durations, the multi-layer grip reduces shock and vibration so you can be comfortable until the task is finished.

I use this product to staple special type of offensive to my existing fans. All I will use this to apply roof felt onto some plywood. I’m not sure why I waited so long to get this product. Previously, I was using a handheld staple gun, which, by the end of the day, my hands were so tired, but this product has been very helpful. I had to go to Lowe’s to buy the correct type of staples to input it

I bought this to build a catio to protect my cats from coyotes. I have a covered ground-level deck outside, open on one side only, with wood supports, and just want to staple heavy black wire fencing across the fourth side facing out to the back yard. Seemed easy but like most projects....So this stapler looked good - an easy way to attach the fencing and I planned to reinforce with strategically-place screwed fasteners as well.BUT this staple hammer is quite HEAVY and takes SPECIAL STAPLES1. It says 1 pound on the listing. They lie. Its 2.25 pounds. May not seem like much but when hammering hundreds of staples it adds up, It is good as you can get more force. It is bad because I am 75 years old and did not expect this.2. All the listing says is it takes 3 kinds of heavy-duty staples. My bad that I did not read all the reviews with the helpful one that shows the compatible staples. They are the narrow-width heavy-duty staples. I did not order those, obviously; instead ordering other Bostitch heavy-duty staples. arghhhh. So now will order the right ones and then see if this works for me. What the listing omitted was to specify "narrow" and to order Bostitch BTA705, BTA706, BTA708, or Dewalt DWHTTA 705/706/708, or Stanley TRA705/706/708. Only these. Others are too wide and do not fit. Trust me.I think I may need to buy an electric one instead. Will update when I get further along in this harder-to-complete project!

This is a weird stapler. In order to load the staples you pull out the metal rod and load the staples near the Bostitch Logo. The staples don't load where you pull out the metal rod.

This stapler is very bulky compared to my old one, the Bostich BHT150C. Its weight is ideal and the size is too large for some areas, I install insulation, I do recommend it though

I am a roofer and used the DeWalt takers but they kept jamming up, so I thought I would try this one and it worked great, I have zero issues with it
