This is my dad's account, I am in college at Humboldt State and and getting into surfing. I am a beginner and have only been surfing a few times so far, but I knew that it was something I wanted to do. I had found a board and needed fins. These are perfect for a beginner. They are firm to keep the board steady, and it is nice that they come with the wax scraper/bottle-opener/tool to screw in your fins. If you are a more experienced surfer these may not be for you depending on what you're looking for. These are NOT flex fins, they are very sturdy which allows the surfer to keep their balance on the board. Flex fins are more for maneuvering quick turns and tricks, thus they are less stable for a beginner. My fins were received quickly and came in a nice little fin-shaped snap close pouch that you could reuse for transporting your fins separately from the board.

These fins fit my 9’0 log perfectly and they rip! Easy to install and remove. Only reason it’s not getting a 5 star is because the tool it came with has a built in Allen key that twists inside the tool so you can’t use it to torque down the fins when broken.

Good price. Exactly what I needed for an old FCS fin setup. It went into a board that was more than 20 years old, and it was perfectly compatible. Happy did it. Price was best of course.
