The cylindrical pass-through (part of the lever's structure) is tiny and so the corresponding screw that passes through it is also tiny. I do not believe this will hold up over time; so, I will not be soldering this onto the end-crook of my trombone. Waste of $$!

Worked as it should! Got covered in spit installing, but not sure that's the manufacturers fault. ;)

The cork is too small to seat firmly in the valve, and the screw is too short to properly install on my trombone.

My son plays trombone, and after time and use, the spit valve needs replacement or cleaning. This kit was easy to use to replace the one on his trombone. No more leaky spit on my floor!

Has not been needed yet. Considering the number of times it needed repairs, it seemed like a good thing to have.Appears to be a direct replacement for existing key on trombone.The key has a bright surface finish.Cork and spring included.

I was hoping to be able to use this with the existing mounting bracket on a Yamaha trombone, but the shaft screw is thinner for this valve so that was not possible... Would be 5 stars if it used standard size screw

Did not fit trombone had to spend $100 bucks to make it fit
