Had to move my compressor unit and need to resolder the plumbing. This did the trick. Took me about 3 hours in all and cost me about $100 in materials and tools. Super easy to do and the HVAC Guy wanted $ 1100 to do it. That's $ 350 an hour. I do all my own stuff by watching You tube videos. I worked for the government and military for total of 51 years and they sent me to HVAC school for certification and EPA cert.

These silver brazing rods didn’t seem to want to flow. My heat was right. In fact, I got this hot enough that the metal glowed. I even tried flux and it still didn’t want to flow. I’m going to try a different type of flux and see if that helps. For right now, I give this product a 3.

Useful around the shop and of course for joining copper tube in HVAC work.A good price for a reasonable quantityYou must use flux to have it perform properly, I like stay-silv.
