My husband does his own ac work. He uses these rods to install service ports and replace coils. They are easy to use and work well. They provide a solid joint and adhere well.

Very low melting point. Easily liquefied with a butane kitchen torch. Relatively slow to cool. Center core flux, so no flaking off on your hands or in storage. Very thin rods, so easy to work with, but not long lasting.
