I use it even on low carbon steel, just like the way it runs, not to mention the strength of the welds. Obviously great on it's intended low alloys too.

Awesome filler rod. Using it on thinwall 4130 chromemoly bicycle tubing with a .040 lanthanated electrode. Easy to control, and lovely color compared to ER70S-2. Went with recommendation by Mr. Tig.

This product came very well packaged... I use this filler metal for 4140 chromium molybdenum alloy and other similar high strength alloys. It welds nice and clean, and performs as it should. I will buy more when my supply gets low.
