I had another grinder for two years and it was in the same price point and usually the most recommended coffee grinder on the market, but it had two flaws it was extremely noisy then I had to make sure the household was up before grinding coffee. The other flaw is it has a plastic cog that moved the grinds to the bin, so if you did not clean it often it would break. Well I decided to buy this unit because other reviews stated low noise and built to last and they were spot on. I'm not sure of the longevity of the LED but it is a machine that from a novice to a barista can use even without reading the manual for the grind settings.

Love the holder for portafilter holder. Im a tech person, and have to have my coffee. Matched this with a manual espresso maker, and have it tuned in. I put a clean porta filter below it, and push grind. Perfect every time. Seems to keep the beans well in addition. (One bag a week). Im doing americano, and latte's, and even danger coffee using it. Using a coffee club, so different type of coffee every month. Really happy with it. Its a little noisy, but fast, so not a issue.

I sent back a lesser expensive grinder. You REALLY get what you pay for when it comes to grinders. This one is wonderful!

While this is on the higher end of the price spectrum, this is a really good coffee grinder. Plenty of options for number of cups, grind coarseness, etc. Also easy to use. I highly recommend this product if you are in the market for a high end coffee grinder.
