Really good after 6 weeks.Well worth the wait. Very smooth-not hoppy at all. The higher alcohol will get your attention. Will definitely make again! Out of my 150 batches so far this is one of the best!Been 8 weeks and the whiskey flavor really shines. I have more on order and will definitely wait the 8 weeks this time . Beer came out great. I would suggest buying a mesh bag to hold the wood chips since they are really small. You can actually buy the Jack Daniels soaked wood chips at Wal Mart. I boiled the wood chips and then soaked them in a local bourbon for extra taste. If you want a real bourbon taste you will need more chips than come with the packet and the beer will need to ferment longer.

Another great Brewer's Best ingredient kit. Nice flavor profile. I soaked the oak chips in some bourbon for a few days before adding them to the beer after fermentation was complete. A nice hint of the whiskey came through.

This one has been fun to make. It is now in the carboy waiting to be bottled. It is an intermediate brewing level but directions are easy to follow. Super fast shipping. Great customer service. Price is good. What more can I say. Probably the best company i have dealt with on Amazon.

This was a great kit the first time I ordered it, great flavors! Unfortunately the second time I ordered the same thing I received an Amber ale kit in it's place.
