I'm using these for crochet crafts with yarn, and so far I'm quite happy. I'im using the 6 inch ring for the inner circle, applying tension on it both pulling towards the center, and pulling out towards a 12 inch hoop and it hasn't given any as I pull and tug on it.Love how the hoops give my projects stability, shape, and the "perfectly round" look that no matter how round I think my "free form" crocheted circle is, it can be pulled out of by the tension put on it.Really glad I got these, I may use them as outer rings on some thread crochet projects, as the joining is nice and smooth, and with the yarn able to slide right over it, I think they will work well with thread as well.
