I got this for making guacamole. sometimes the avocados are not quite soft enough and my old masher was bending out of shape. This one works great even with hard avocados.If you can't mash it with this, it can't be mashed. lol

I ordered yesterday, it was delivered today. I had some hamburger cooked up but couldn’t get it broken up into small pieces like I wanted it. Apparently a potato masher is what I needed. Chose this one due to the many holes and micro holes in-between. While the cooked burger wouldn’t go through like the video shows potatoes doing, it worked fantastically and immediately. Added my sloppy joe mix and ate my dinner. I’ll be using it on my next batch of hamburger tomorrow as I cook it up.The wooden handle is comfortable and sturdy. I’m well pleased with this product. I had never known a masher that wasn’t the curly “snake†looking thing. I’m looking forward to mashing other foods too.For those wondering, I did wash it before using it. I didn’t just use it right out of the box.

This seemed like a nice masher and reviews were good so I'm hoping mine is just a rare fluke, but literally the first attempt at using it for mashed potatoes on Thanksgiving day it broke instantly. Like first plunge. Anyone else have this happen?

With this potato masher, I love the wooden handle and the metal bottom which was strong when mashing potatoes. Sadly, my mashed potatoes still had some bits in them, but the potatoes were creamy as a whole.

My partner does a lot of cooking and hates my potato masher. He was used to the type Brigli made, so I purchased it and he is delighted. It reminds him of the one his grandmother used.
