Your cart is empty.This 40mm padlock is constructed with a laminated steel body and covered with a thermoplastic jacket to resist corrosion. Lock is enhanced by a chrome plated, plastic covered hardened steel shackle. The lock features 4 pin cylinder for increased pick resistance. The lock also has a cover for the cylinder keyway, which keeps dirt, moisture, grime, and snow out. This product is ideal for tool boxes, bike cables, spare tires, and other valuables that might be exposed to the elements.

The Encapsulated closure on the Padlock helps to resist water, snow and unlike other locks which failed in past purchases, this one works without problems as previously experienced in past purchases.

We had a padlock on our side gate. But only after a year it started to become difficult to unlock. This lock has protection over the key hole and I expect it will last a lot longer.

The lock works great. I especially like the two stoppers that covers the mechanism so water/snow won't get into the lock and rust out the mechanism.

I bought this padlock because I’ve used Brinks in the past and have been very happy with their products. However this lock was a huge let down. I purchased it for a storage unit that I have and when I first put the lock on everything was fine. I went back a month and a half later and I could barely get the key in the lock and when I was finally able to get it unlocked I couldn’t get the key out. It also has a rubber protection piece on the bottom but despite that it’s still corroded. I ended up having to throw the entire thing out because the key is still stuck and I wouldn’t want to risk not being able to get it open again.
