This is a beautiful filter with charcoal in the back. It came packaged and shipped perfectly! I did not have the charcoal filter before and cannot wait to cook something where I can see the difference. This is a quality product and you will know once you see and handle it. It fit my range hood perfectly.

Really perfect fit for my fan. I've purchased the same filter from other sellers in the past and fit was less than perfect so the center of the filter (got sucked upwards when fan on) would rub on the fan blade. This one stays put the way it should so no loud sounds from my fan.Since it has the charcoal insert within the filter mesh, it also helps kill a lot of the odors from grease that becomes trapped within our filters from regular use. Not much smells worse than old rancid grease and this filter takes care of that worry.It is a disposable filter, but I have actually cleaned and reused it a couple times. Just take care to not bend or twist the frame. Gently soak in some hot sudsy water (I use DAWNâ„¢ Dish Soap; best for grease elimination) and rinse. Sometimes I might add a bit of household degreaser (LA's AWESOME ORANGEâ„¢) if grease is stubborn & dried on and once I used GOO GONEâ„¢ because the grease was REALLY bad on frame. After soaking and gently using a soft bristle scrub brush to loosen grime, rinse the filter thoroughly and let air dry prior to reinstalling it. All that grease in there lets you know the filter is really doing it's intended job which in turn keeps grease out of your range hood vent and or vent flue, thus reducing risks of grease fires. Love this filter.

It fits perfectly on my Nutone WhispAire WA6500.The size is 11-1/4″ x 11-3/4″ x 3/8″FYI, difference between Aluminum and Charcoal Carbon is Aluminum filter is for open which has suck air out of the house. Charcoal Carbon filter is for closed vent, which is ductless, air circulated in the house.It also arrived quickly.

The filter was used to replace an old filter in a Kenmore (Sears) range hood. The filter was not exactly the right size as the old on (slightly longer and thicker at the edges), but we were able to adjust the brackets to get it to fit and then added a little electrical tape to hold it in place. We now use the range hood as usual.
