Two kinds: cream and liquid. I used both and both work well. I prefer the cream because it’s less messy.

I use this on almost all of my balls and use it on all my brunswicks. All the brusnwicks unless they are at a set grit use this compound. Most are 500/1500 compound now a days. Any older or even newer polished balls will have a grit then compound then the brunswick polish. This product does go on better with a ball spinner however I do use it by hand just remember to go up one grit if you are doing it by hand so 500/1500 compound becomes 500/2000 then compound to achieve the same look and reaction. Also expect to have to rub harder and longer by hand the ball should not be gritty and caked with compound after it's applied so keep rubbing if it is gritty or just do it on a ball spinner.

Tried the 6 oz bottle on a ball (Idol Pearl) that has not been my best choice for scoring these days and not too eager to try it. When I received the Crown Factory Compound I was wondering which ball to try it on so picked the Idol as what did I have to lose. I have my own spinner and pads and cleaners and after cleanning the ball applied the Crown Compound as directed using my spinner and a microfiber pad. So it looked good and smelled pretty good and that friday night took it along as usual in my bag. During league practice I used it along with another of my favorite balls but decided to give the Idol a shot. While I noticed the ball had extended length, but the entry was smooth and predictable, more so than in past BUT the carry was insanely improved. 1st game 237, 2nd game 289 and as I am 74, I was a little tired in 3rd game for 195. 721 for the first night using this compound. Will be trying it again next week and if I see comparable results again......well I will give it the 5 stars it deserves.

exactly what I was looking for. Gives the ball some length and good backend.

Restores to factory finish after a complete resurface. I tried other brands and I came back to what Brunswick uses for the best results.

Works as it should. I really like it. Probably should get a spinner before use.

I have been bowling exclusively with Radical equipment (a subsidiary of Brunswick for those who aren't familiar) for the past two years and the last step in the factory finish on the balls I've been using is either the Crown Factory Compound or the Crown Factory Polish. I believe that maintaining your equipment is vital to consistently performing at peak level so I resurface my equipment any time I notice a decrease in performance. While I do modify the surface on my equipment as needed for various lane conditions I've found that in many cases the factory surface fits my style well. Using these products allows me to return my ball to the factory surface (or at least very close) and restore the original performance. I've tried several other compounds and polishes but these two seem to work best with my style and most importantly my equipment.
