This is a great gift for anyone. I bought it for my other half who has a lot of jewelry & he likes to keep what he's going to wear the next day in there. He also adds what he's takes off that night, right in this beautifully sized box! He also puts his wallet, keys, some medication bottles in it when he gets in. I actually purchased it to be an extention to his jewelry case. To some degree it is, but since he's always on the move he has made it his, "To Drop Off & To Go Box!" He loves that it's big & it's safe & sturdy all while looking great as well. It's not a skinny little shoe box, it's a well made good size treasure chest made of wood & not crappy plastic. It came with a lock & two small keys as well. However, it has a closure of its own when not using the lock & key function. I'm sure it's going to change it's current use status & it'll be used for whatever he needs it to be. It is really nice looking, roomy, heavy, well made chest that can be used for whatever you need it to be. It's functions are actually limitless... you decide what to use yours for. It's a handsome gift that anyone would enjoy. It came really fast actually & right before Christmas/Hanukkah at that! It was well packaged so there was no way it could be damaged en route to us! This is just a gift no one could not appreciate! It's a great gift for a male or female who needs a gift that they're not expecting to need, but absolutely do!!! Get one!

My grandson loved this gift, and stores his rock collection in it. He’s a rough and tumble kid, and this is just as nice as it was when I gave it to him a year ago.

Purchased as a photo prop. The build quality is acceptable. Looks pretty good. Lockability doesn’t really apply, although for appearances, it’s acceptable. Value for the money - it’s fine.

The item arrived with a moist like rust on all of the metal on the box and it gets all over your hands, I purchased this for my daughter but I don’t feel comfortable giving this to her in this condition.I will be trying to get a replacement.

The lid does not properly line up on both sides , the latch is flimsy and thin and is hard to stay put ! There is some kind of residue on the box , maybe stain used . The overall appearance looks good but my 8 year old grandson would need a different latch and there is scratch on the front ! Also please tell them to place the box or order instead of throwing or dumping it on the porch !

This was a present for my 10yr. old granddaughter who loved it so much that she carried it round with her all the time. I had to discourage her from overloading it in case it put too much strain on the handle but apart from that little worry I was really pleased with it as it is a very attractive item.

Estaba buscando una caja de madera para guardar las cartas que me envÃa mi novio, por tanto tenÃa que ser una caja muy especial. Y he acertado plenamente porque esta caja és perfecta. Tiene un tamaño muy generoso, sus acabados en forja están muy logrados y le dan un delicioso aspecto artesanal. Lleva un candado y una llave que, a la par que decorativos, cumplen la función de dar privacidad al interior. El color caoba también és muy bonito porque és intenso y brillante. Por poner una pega dirÃa que el calibre de la madera és un poco fino pero, por el precio que tiene, no se puede exigir nada más.
