I guess because I got a small one it does not make a love the sound. Maybe if you place very slow it would works. But I prefer a bigger one

Because of it's small size, it is best suited to small movements with a microphone to produce rain sounds, not so much ocean wave sounds.

I could find peace listening to the beads. Rain falling is what I like. This does a good job of replicating that and the ocean. Very therapeutic.

The drum is great for meditation It has very good sound. I use it for meditation or when someone needs calming down ... it is fantastic! Slow down the movements so, you will have wonderful ocean sounds! I love it! Great buy. Only small issue is that is no case or bag for it, and the surface of the plastic can be easily damaged.
