This is a great little instrument if you want to try playing a xylophone. Like playing a harmonica, it is difficult to play a wrong note. I bought it to use in some of my guitar instrumentals, and with some tweaks, it sounds great! I might buy a bigger one some day. I'm definitely a fan of the wood sound. The only downside is that the bars are not totally straight.

Bought this for my 18 month old son as a Christmas gift. I love the idea of a toy xylophone but not the sharp metallic sound. This is a nice alternative though the B and higher C note are out of tune. With ours the B is a half-step higher than the high C.

My Mini Xylophone sounds great. The finish isn't perfect and looks worn in places, but the sound is what matters.

Proper sounding small xylophone, no loose bits, so perfect for toddlers and young kids. They have a proper sound unlike most baby xylophones!

Came with the black paint splattered on keys, wood doesn’t appear to be that high of quality upon inspection of the pieces and splintering rough clear coat.
