I like the sturdiness of these and the ease of closure. The fabric and stitching are top notch. I am using them for a couple of Freedman Tweaked whistles in Bb and A, as well as a wooden Whorfin A. The Bb is a very good fit. The A is at this case's maximum capacity. When Jerry Freedman tweaked my A he took a tiny bit off the bottom to improve its intonation. Since I don't know how much I would assume it to be a tighter fit for a regular Generation A. It is likely to fit most whistles in these keys. The velcro is a good quality. I could write on the green cloth with a sharpie to identify which whistle was inside. I would like to find this in a shorter size in this material for a D whistle. You could definitely use this for a D or a C but it would be an inch or two longer than absolutely necessary.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I wanted a nice but protective case for my American fife, and this fit the bill perfectly. Padded and a beautiful shade of green. This was my last hope, and it works!!!

Case beautifully constructed BUT so tight on width that you can not possibly get the flute back out of the case.To top it off they make you pay shipping costs to return it!!! And only from postal service (no UPS)!

We searched EVERYWHERE for a case for my daughter's fife before we found this case. It's well made and just right!

Fits both my whistles together snugly, though it's slightly longer. Opens and closes well and is nicely padded.
