I LOVE Bucilla products, they’re well made, always have plenty of sequins, beads, yarn, thread or whatever is needed to complete your project. Instructions are fairly easy to follow if you’ve ever followed any kind of a pattern before, because there are a lot of illustrations of the step-by-step assembly. I made this particular stocking as a baby gift, the mom was really excited to have a gift that would be treasured for many years to come.

I enjoyed stitching this stocking, like all of Bucilla’s kits, the instructions were easy to follow and the material was great quality. I highly recommend Bucilla!!!!

This is not a quick project but the quality and final product are worth the effort. On a side note one of the kits i used was short on one of the supplies. I contacted Bucilla customer service and they quickly sent out a replacement so I could have my stocking done in time for christmas. All around a good experience.

This is the 2nd stocking I have made. It had clear instructions that were easy to follow. The felt markings were clear and all needed supplies were included. I added the name tag to the stocking vs hanging it on the side. I added a personalized liner (cotton fabric sewn in) to protect the felt and stitching from getting damaged. I would recommend it for anyone that loves cats like my granddaughter. I have a goal to make 1 for the whole family by Christmas 2022.

I have been making Bucilla Christmas stocking kits for 40 years. The newer kits do have poorer quality of the sequins and thread. But nothing looks as fantastic as these kits when they’re completed.

I was very happy with how this turned out but it is a lot of sewing. The stitches used in creating the embroidery on this sock are not difficult but if you have never tried something like this before your going to find some of the directions a little hard to understand.The felt is printed with the pattern and you cut everything out and put it together. You will need fiber fill and I put a lining inside mine so that when the stocking was filled presents nothing would catch on the stitching. It took my about 2 month to finish and I worked on it for an hour or two almost everyday.

This stocking is for my nephew & his girlfriend. They have a gray cat & black cat, so I changed the color of one cat. On the cats I used silver thread. I glued googlie eyes and eyelashes on them. I also gave them whiskers. I did that by first doing the whiskers as instructed. I then took 3 strands of thread and weaved them through the whiskers that I had embroidered on already. I did that on each embroidered whisker.CordThe instructions really doesn’t instruct on how to apply the cord for the green loose yarn. I took 4 stands of thread. Pulled thread up as to do embroidery. Twist thread. Lay a little portion down on stocking. With another needle and 1 strand of thread you will tack down that portion. Do this all along the way. Twist stands. Tack down. Twist strands. Tack down. Etc.
