bought this rim to have a spare to put knobby tire on for off roading. Being a front wheel there isn't much that can be a problem. The rear wheel is more complicated and here it is lacking in quality and the cassette rattles no mater how tight you get it.

Only one negative was the fact that it was a dual hole as opposed to being just presta. So as far as tubeless is concerned when you set up your gorilla tape the washer they ship with it to make it presta compatible, put that under the tape and thread your tubeless valve so that the tape is in between the rubber valve gasket, and the washer. And just get a good tubeless valve. I would recommend a round gasket at the bottom of the valve rather than the ones that ship with square ones for some strange reason. That was all I had for this mounting, so I had to really tighten the crap out of it down. It did eventually seal. Then I would recommend truckerco sealant to use and with a good tubeless ready tire and works just fine again have I said it enough? Tubeless. Sturdy looking wheel set rear wheel. I will update this review after I've had it for about a year I've only had a few rides on it so far and it's been Rock solid. What the guy said about the cassette and the free hub body coming out too easily it certainly true. But what he said about having to take the cassette off to get it back in is not accurate at least not for me It was easy to just push it back in and my shifting tolerance was just fine and hadn't changed. Then as another guy said there are lots of points of engagement. The jury is still out on the pauls durability of course long-term. But generally when these wheels are as noisy as this one is initially they last a long time (the engagement mechanism.) if it's too loud for you simply take some non petroleum based medium grease (not too thin and not too thick), and that will quiet it down. Don't put too much thick grease in there or else the release for coasting won't work. Delicate balance. It's also nice that they ship a spoke with it, so you'll know the exact size I spokes to purchase in the event of some being damaged. Anyway the value for the money, makes these certainly worth trying since you can always return them free for 30 days.

So here's the deal The wheels were okay at first after 4 months of writing the freehub body broke apart inside the wheel this is unacceptable I only weigh 150 lb so it's not like it was overworked.I reached out to the seller they didn't help I reached out to Bucklos the manufacturer they did not help either I would still clear up this brand.

The freewheel is noisy as hell but holding up well so far. Only have a few hundred miles on them and I'm getting used to the angry hornet sound when coasting. Weight isn't bad and I'm running 2.8 tubeless Maxxis with no issues. Do a good tape job and they are fine to run tubeless.

Very surprised by the quantity of engagement points and the sounds made when spun, front bearings seem a bit tight, however fully expect them to break in and run more freely after a couple rides.

Wanted to upgrade front forks so I had to get a new wheel. Great wheel. No issues and came true.

I set them up for tubeless and they work fine. Just make sure you get a good tire. Gorilla tape and orange seal or Stans and it should be goodðŸ‘

Really liking this rim. Sounds like some angry hornets but preforms great

I am not one of those extreme MNT bikers but I've experienced many blue trails. These wheels were/are great. I'd recommend them.
