Solid design and well made but the only small thing I don't like is that the chalk faces the side instead of down so naturally pulling it out of your pocket you have to manipulate it a bit to chalk your cue instead of having it naturally in hand. But I've used it for several months, several days per week and it's a great chalk holder. If you've ever pulled chalk out of your back pocket you'll understand what I'm describing.

The part below the 8 ball isn't connected to the top of the shell, so it's a loose and a bit annoying. I have the super glue it. Otherwise, it's great! For $20 I'd expect it to come secure, but not a huge deal. It matches my pool cue and case.
