I have a greenhouse, and the Burpee Black Seeded Lettuce is the one that I get the most compliments with. It tastes so good and has a lot of vitamins and minerals that support our health. The color is a rich lighter green color it is so pretty, also.

Since I started gardening a few years ago, I could never get my lettuce to either grow or die right after harvest. I chalked it up to inexperience and our growing zone, but I thought maybe it could've been the seeds as well.I've bought lettuce seeds from Amazon for the past three years, but never Burpee and it always seemed to sold out here locally.This year I tried this lettuce and I am so glad I did. Not only is my lettuce still very crisp in my fridge after 3 weeks, my lettuce head is ready to be harvested again! Planted in two different greenhouses. Planted half of the seeds; only a quarter of them came up and lasted about 2 weeks once sprouted. One plant survived and I brought it in the house. Package was blank on the back. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! I fell for it and these seeds turned out to be a joke.
