I got a 1st generation Vortex Razor 20-60x85 spotting scope but, I could not find the eye-piece with the reticle from Vortex. I heard that this Burris eye-piece is compatible with my Vortex. And it is!! I am very happy with this eye-piece and reticle. I wish my scopes have this reticle. It's cheaper than the vortex one and works great! The best thing is it is available.

I ordered this from other reviews saying it would fit a Swarovski and it sure does fit the sts. Haven’t measured how accurate the retical is yet but so far I am happy.

I purchased a Vortex Razor 20-60X85 (Gen. 1 Model # RZR-A1) Spotting Scope on close out. Vortex dis-continued the scope replacing it with a re-designed model (Gen. 2). They also dis-continued their 30X ranging eyepiece and none where available anywhere. A posting on Sniper's Hide suggested this Burris eyepiece worked perfectly, so I took a chance and bought one. Sure enough they were right and it works to my observation +,- 2% accuracy for ranging. The quality of the eyepiece is excellent with top resolution & clarity. I think it equals the quality of the factory Razor zoom eyepiece. Warning if you have a Gen.2 Vortex Razor spotter, it will not fit or work. There was a design change.

Fits great on my 1st Generation Vortex Razor 20-60x80 spotting scope (RZR-A1) since the Vortex version has been discontinued. The eyepiece is just as clear and crisp as the original eyepiece on the razor. In testing, the reticle seems to be magnified by about 2.5%.This seems to be consistent with what other people have achieved. In order to get a perfect distance when ranging, the result would need to be multiplied by 1.025.

I purchased this for a vortex razor HD spotting scope, it fits perfect, and the reticle is a tremendous improvement when spotting and calling shots on target.

I have this Burris 30x, as well as the Vortex branded 30x lens for my first generation Vortex Razor 85mm. This lens fits the scope bayonet mount perfectly and locks into place. I’ve done a lot of A/B’ing to decide which to keep, and the view is basically indistinguishable. I wonder if it’s the same glass, rebranded and in slightly different casings. The view in both is noticeably wider at 30x than the 20-60x zoom that comes with the scope. If you’re wanting a 30x for your 1st generation Razor, then this is a no-brainer replacement for the Vortex 30x lens that is very hard to find.

Great add-on to the HD Signature spotting scope. Extra 10x magnification from the factory 20x and the Mil redicle makes a huge difference when spotting long range targets.

I purchased this product to try and get a reticle in my swarovski ATS65 for long range shooting. The subtensions line up almost perfectly. The eyepiece does not lock into place on the swarovski but is held firmly enough that I don't think it would fall out under normal use. This is a great option to convert your Swarovski spotting scope to one you can use for corrections for a very reasonable price. The attached picture are taken through the Swarovski ATS65 with the Burris(SCR) and my Arken EP5 with MIL reticle the distance is 1985m to compare the subtensions. The picture without a reticle is the Swarovski with the 20-60 eyepiece set at 30x to compare field of view.
