My new design wall was so very easy to put up. These boards are lightweight, easy to attach with 3M strips. They look good, nice and fresh white flannel, good size. And I was so happy not to have to make my own insulation boards again, don't have time for that! Buying these saved me a lot of project time. Id rather be creating. I already have a couple quilt blocks attached to it and they've held up well.

These flannel boards are awesome, much better than I expected. A lot of space to create and make changes to quilt squares or anything else you are creating. I highly recommend these boards.

Enhanced my creativity because it’s so easy! I like to make smallish art pieces and this is great, to really see how fabrics will look together, SO much better than on the floor or work table! Now I can play around, leave it up, rearrange the fabrics, really live with the design for awhile to see how I like it. I arranged these so that two more panels will fit above for when I work on a bed quilt. I’ll need a ladder, but in the past I was always climbing one trying to get a photo of my design and of course I still couldn’t get a proper perspective.I can use pins, something I didn’t expect, which is wonderful: the piece on the top right and the red, black, yellow and white log cabin piece have already been quilted, so they won’t stay up for long otherwise. I found a charm of a little house at a thrift shop, and thought it would be a nice addition to one of my earliest, most rustic pieces. Also, when I want to try a fabric without cutting it, I can fold it into the size I want and stick it up there to look at. Installed easily with Command strips. Threads come off easily with a lint roller.A little pricey, but much easier than what I was planning to do: drive to the hardware store and buy insulation board, get it in my car, up to my apartment, and staple flannel sheets onto it, and I doubt very much that it would have been any cheaper.

It does the job. Easy to put up for one person. They are about 1/2 inch thick foam board with a light weight fleece glued to them. There is glue on both sides so when unpacking you have to peel the packing bubbles off from the backs. The recommended anchors are Command strips. Even though there is glue on the back (just tacky) the command strips did not easily adhere. I ended up leaving the command strips on the backs of the boards and on the walls overnight to help them adhere before putting the boards back onto the walls. They are still up. Hopefully they will stay up. The quilt blocks stay on with no pins. They get a 4 star for ease of use and the fact that they work. I think they are overpriced for what they are made of.I couldn’t get a large piece of insulation board home in my car to make my own so this was my best alternative. Also, the size allows you to configure your own board. My available space was 78” and wide by length of wall which is obstructed by storage cabinets. So I used 6 boards of 8 purchased (1 set has 4 boards in it). 3 across is 72” by about 65” long. Perfect fit for my space. I’m going to use the other two boards for configuring individual blocks closer to the sewing area.UPDATE: I purchased one more set for a complete floor to ceiling design wall. The blocks stay on great.

I just made myself a 96" wide by 85" high planning wall for quilts with a combination of large size and small BXI panels to fill out a wall. I could not be happier with how it turned out. It took my husband and I less than an hour using 2 way sticky tape to put the panels in place. I have long wanted a nice planning wall but until recently did not have a large wall to work with. Initially I ordered one pack of small panels to be sure they would work for me and I was excited right away. I put some scrap fabric on one and waved it around and they stayed put! I can't wait to plan my first quilt with this awesome planning wall!!

Seriously, BUY THESE if you are a quilter and need a great spot to display your blocks. These are beautifully made, super-easy to hang, and look great on the wall. I bought the package of 6, but might get more. I wanted to start small as I don't have a lot of wall space in my sewing room. I used command strips and only needed a level to set the first one in place. The rest was a breeze.

The individual boards are lightweight and adhere easily to walls using 2 Command strips per board. It’s so nice now not to have to use the floor when laying out a quilt pattern. Fabric sticks very easily and holds until you remove it. This has made my quilting projects so much easier to work with, while envisioning and/or rearranging the project I’m working on. I don’t know why I waited so long to buy this product! I highly recommend this design wall product!
