These stats worked perfectly on our Leer top camper shell. The old struts had gotten weak to the point that everytime I'd open the hatch is would fall back down. These are stronger than the original struts and very easy to install. Would definitely buy again.

I purchased to replace worn out factory ones on my Weatherguard two lid toolbox. I only bought two and that was plenty of lift only using one new one on each lid. Factory used two on each side. Easy to install.

This worked great on my fiberglass swiss patriot bedcover on my 2002 chevy silverado. I measured the old ones they were 20". So I ordered the 20" 185 pound rating ones. They are stiff and hold great so far only had the 2 days. Took a total 5 minutes to switch out they fit great. Built very heavy duty we will see how long they hold up.

I bought the 16" 55lbs shocks for my Camper Shell Rear Window. It works extremely well. But I think they are "too strong". I can't recommend a specific length and lbs for you, but I can tell you that 55lbs is too strong for my Shell Rear door! It is a full size Camper Shell on a Ford f-150. It feels like the glass could break when closing it.The instructions do state "not to buy over-strong" or door will not close; they should have that in their product description.At the end, I installed only 1 of the new 16" 55lbs shocks and 1 of the "better" old ones. Will save the extra new one for later I guess.My Camper Shell Rear Window now stays up and I don't have to have it rest on my head when accessing the truck bed.Good value for my money. Easy installation.

Bought these for my new to me 11 f-150. The struts on the camper shell glass were incredibly weak and worn. Now it stays up as it should and makes it easier to load stuff in the back. Very happy!

I replaced these lifting arms twice. The last ones I purchased worked okay but as the weather got cold they dropped the rear hatch on my head. These are rated for 40# they snap the rear window up fast and keep it up.

A little tricky to install. Hard to get the snap ring out just enough without going more one side than the other. be careful you don't stab yourself!
