I bought the wrong ends for my coaxes. When I went to connect the male to female ends they wouldn’t screw together. Upon closer review I discovered the male and female both had center pins. This adapter solved my problem.

When tightened down the adapter disconnects entirely. Cannot fully tighten on the threads so antenna falls off. Don't recommend
