After playing my guitar while sitting on my buddy's stool, I decided I needed something like it to keep me from just sitting on the edge of my couch, possible eventually deforming the cushions. I'm a 70+ player and looked for a similar stool that was inexpensive, sturdy & comfortable that I could move from my music corner to my deck quickly. I was initially concerned because, as another review pointed out, the clamp securing the seat to the vertical post would not tighten enough to hold the seat in place. I tightened it down and 2 days later, it must have had enough pressure on it to form it in place. I can now pick it up by the stool w/o the seat coming off. Some complained saying the padding was too squishy. I found it to be fine and able to support my 200 lb comfortably (a matter of taste I guess). The stand, with the double struts is strong and the unit is stable. If I were to change anything, I might like to have some vertical adjustment. But, I find the fixed height adequate and probably would fix it here anyhow. I think my buddy's stool seat might have been a slightly larger diameter (can't swear to it). But, this fits my bottom so it's not an issue. Assembly was 2 steps. Expand the feet. Then secure the stool. No tools needed.

Bought for an adult, very sturdy, but yet comfortable. Using to play electric drums. Adjustable, durable, will recommend!

I really love the price of the product. It seems well made and is adjustable and easy to carry. My only con with this piece is the foam seating. In a normal jam session, the foam moves or creeps and gets all weird and out of place. I have to move it back several times. Other than that, it’s golden.

Great size and easy to set up also very lightweight if you have to play gigs and take your hollow acoustic drum set. Nice and padded and very comfortable

What do i like...not much. Typical chinese junk. Fortunately i didn't buy it for a seat. I have a drum throne that adjusts. I plan on turning it into a bongo stand and only need the base. Other than that, move on to a good throne.

I should have returned this while returns were still allowed. The foam is extremely soft and it becomes uncomfortable within 30 minutes. Also, the height does NOT adjust and the seat clamp does not tighten sufficiently to keep the seat tight on the post. Might be OK for a kid, otherwise steer clear of this cheap piece of junk.

Most uncomfortable seat ever before buying this I was seating on a stool with no cushion I stand up more using this because I am in pain but that’s just me I can’t speak for others all I know is that I may be returning it the seat is entirely too uncomfortable other than that it’s stable and the height is good for me as well.
