I haven't used this yet but i will, i had a different one from temu and that one pretty much instantly got trashed, this one is very great quality with measurement notches to put the metal cords at different heights, it comes with 2 metal high tension cords, one straight and one serrated.

it worked for me but had a hard time separating the cake layers. two of them parcially broke

Very disappointed with this product. It is cheaply made. The wire only has good tension when set at the bottom. As one move the wire to the higher settings, there is no tension to hold the wire in place. It would help if the wire could be tightened. I would strongly advise people not to waste your money on this product.

This is the only cake leveler that I found with two slicers. I thought that was ingenious. However, when I received the product, the notches for the wire weren't even (level) from one side to the other. That kind of defeats the whole purpose! I have initiated a return and decided to give them a second chance, so I'm looking forward to receiving a second cake leveler soon. If the notches line up, I'm sure I'll love it!

This is so much better than a knife to level the cake. Also to cut layers in half.

Worked great. Easy to set up and use. Word of caution when cutting multiple layers without removing the layers as you cut. This thing has little feet on it to help it stand, so if you have a tall cake and cut the first layer at 1 and the next layer at 2 the 2nd layer will be a lot thinner. I didn't even think about it till after I cut all that layers. I mean it seems obvious but I just wasn't thinking. I added he picture of the layers put together on the cake my husband and kids were making so you can see the difference.

The product says it comes with second wire. But we received only one wire with the leveler. We ordered this only for the second wire that was available in the description and product title.
