These cake testers have gotten me through cakes and breads. It’s nice the entire tool is metal. I have only hand washed mine. I’d purchase these again, if needed.

These should work fine, but the grip is heavier than I expected and only had one solder joint, so I'm not expecting the top to hang on. But the pin is fine and should work well

This cake tester is the most substantial and useful testers i have found. It is big enough to be easy to handle even when wearing an oven mitt.

I use this alot for my baking. The toothpick picks up batter and you can't reuse. This item is easy to clean off and reuse again. This is a must for any baker.
