The hat isn't a solid hat. The top velcros in to sides. It holds up and looks nice though. Better quality than some of the stuff Walmart had.

Had a Mardi Gras theme event that I purchased this for. It worked out alright, but this isn't something that's going to last more than a few wearings/washes. Cheap material, lots of fraying, very much in the "costume clothing" category.I didn't end up using the hat, but at least for the vest there are green ribbons attached to the sides that you tie around in the back. This helped a little in getting a clean, tight look.

This Mardi Gras vest is a great buy! As described, accurate photos. Very well made, colors look very nice and received lots of compliments! Also arrived on time!

A well-made outfit that looked really good on my husband. The hat band was a little too large after building the hat from flat pack but it looked fine.

This is really a nice vest for the money. However, it runs very small. The XL was more like a med-lrg. Had to return, but the return process was very good. Disappointed to return.

Well, for a cheap looking party costume I wasn’t expecting too much. So yes it is a very cheap looking costume.It came over 5 days late with no excuse or apology. if you order it make sure to order in time.The biggest disappointment is the hat. The hat comes in several pieces that you will have to assemble. The green ribbon for the hat shown on the photo is not included. The hat does not hold for very long the pieces fall apart fast. It is Really a very stupid design for the hat. If the seller really wanted to make the hat collapse for easier shipping, there are better designs than this.The costume was for my husband and he is between L&XL and it was tight on him so make sure to get a bigger size.

You get what you pay for. The vest works well but the hat is not XL, it's a medium at best. If the hat had been wearable it would be five stars but it's still fun

This product ships flat so the hat is not as nice as it appears in the photos. The vest is cheap but works ok. The tie is not really great beyond one use.If you are not talking close up photos this can work for you.On close inspection you will see the cheapness aspect in various places.The hat is actually not very comfortable especially if you have a larger head so beware if you want to use it for longish time.I wore indoors - I do not recommend for strong wind. The hat will likely break apart. Would give more stars if it didn’t include the hat.Note also that the huge beads in the photo are not included.
