The plant received was inferior in size and density to the photo used on Amazon. Additionally, one leave arrived totally burned and two leaves are starting to turn dark underneath. Seller claimed the plant was healthy and ended the refund discussion. After 2 calls to Amazon and a chat with the seller, Amazon issued a partial credit. If I returned the plant for a full refund I would have had to pay $5 for shipment. Horrible seller!!!

Update:Look at my second picture, the one on upper left is the exact same one I got from the seller. I changed the soil about a month after having it and the soil is the type which allows good air flow, the pot itself provides good drainage too. See how it thrives! I’m planning to get another one for my friend who always compliments on it when she visits my house.Previous review:Glad I checked our mail locker by end of the day or else the plant would be kept in there without air. Would suggest seller to label the packaging to avoid the box being tossed or flipped upside down. Because when I opened the package, even though it was well packaged inside, the loose soil got a little messy and some branches were nipped, one leaf was just black not sure why. But I still love the plant and hope it could grow back straight and tall.

A couple leaves were torn, brown or had fallen off. However, it looked to be packaged well and soil was damp.

This plant arrived quickly and was well packaged. There were several leaves that were blackened, which I removed. It was droopy, but perked up with light. It arrived in very moist soil. It has only 3 healthy remaining leaves (one is torn but appears otherwise healthy), but I have hope that it will continue to grow more healthy leaves with some TLC. It’s in quarantine now with a new pot and good soil.

Waited a few months to write this review. Our California Tropicals Rare Chinese Money Plant (Pilea Peperomioides) is still alive and has healthy looking, dark green leaves, which is great! This plant is either a slow grower or our conditions aren't quite right, as it is still very small. New little branches are definitely, occasionally surprising us, when they appear in the middle of the plant.
