Great quality, ideal in size and replaces the old one of 15 years that finally scratched excessively ..the new brand of Cephelon has a protective layer that won't scratch when washed..its lightweight, deep, at 12 inches..perfest for stir fried foods Chinese or other Asian dishes..great for frozen meals, stroganoff and other mixes sauce meals as well..like a wok, but stronger and more durable..awesome and very happy with my pan..keep it oiled when in use or not in use

Our 35 yo electric wok died and we were ready for a wok that wasn't electric. We tried another brand that was truly a disaster! Once bitten twice shy, we approached this with trepidation. But it is a great wok. It takes a bit to heat but does heat evenly. The surface releases the food as it should. It is great and I would recommend it to others!

This is a great wok. I’ve always cooked on a gas stove until moving. I now cook on a glass top. I find this wok heats well and even. The non stick makes for very easy clean up.

Love this wok pan. Heats evenly, definitely easy clean up. It does have weight to it but works extremely well. Nothing sticks to it! Just slides right out! A little pricey but worth the cost. I've used it for several months and it looks brand new. I would buy it again in a heartbeat!

I love this wok. Size works perfect for me. My only gripe is the handle. It’s too skinny (narrow?) for the wok size. When you’re trying to pour the food from the fairly full wok into the serving dish, the wok will not stay in place when your hand is wet (or oily). The wok will rotate in your hands due to the weight of the wok n food! I finally discovered that I need to wrap the handle with my dish towel which then gives me a better grip of the wok handle when my hand is wet and thus keep the wok in the position I want to get the food into the dish!

I've never owned a wok before. Did my research (as always) and decided on this bad boy. Freakin' amazing!Pros:- great heat distribution- comes with a lid (that should be standard -- well done)- very easy to clean- handle on opposite side- just a pleasure to use- turned me into a freakin' chef!- it was so amazing, I ordered a second one for my girlfriendCons:- smaller handle can get very hot - just be careful- a little on the heavy side, but I actually prefer this -- solid build quality -- but some may want a lighter wok- why is the price the same in USD on the dot com Amazon site as the CAD price? Lol. Suckers

Calphalon is at the top of the food chain (pardon the pun) for non-stick anodized surfaces. This pan is much like their other non-stick pans in that it works very well for a non-stick coating. This wok otherwise disperses heat well and feels solid while cooking. Cleans up very fast. Highly recommended.

I already owned several pieces of Calphalon Signature cookware before I bought this wok.. They are made of thick aluminum and the non-stick coating is excellent. They can also withstand higher temperatures that other Calphalon lines. The quality of this wok was consistent with the quality of the other pieces that I own. I was not disappointed.
