Fit as expected on my DRZ400. No issues putting it in. Make sure to have loctite to really make sure none of the bolts in there come loose and destroy your engine.I'll modify this review if the stator fails, but it's been fine for the past couple of months since I installed it.

The wiring at the plug was not right. After fitting the new stator the bike would not start and backfired. After much head scratching I discovered that the wiring into the plug had two wires reversed. Once these were swapped I have had no further issues and the stator is now charging the battery.

Installed a caltric stator on my drz400s about 1 years ago and 1000 miles. No issues. Wire seemed lighter guage than stock, however the stock stator only lasted 4000 miles so for $34, I feel I'm doing pretty well. Inspected it today and it looks burned, however it still works. It lasts another year or 2 and I will bump to 4 stars.
