I purchased this for a family member who is sick - sometimes they aren’t ready to eat the food when it’s initially prepared or they only eat a portion of their meal … using this helps keep the food nice and warm for when they are hungry. It’s a godsend!

These are not as nice and thick as the ones at the hospital. They are expensive and they don’t keep food very warm. Nice to have when you need it

I needed something to keep my mother's food hot if my husband and me need to leave the house before dinner. She's 92 and lives with us. These are like those hospitals use to keep foods hot in transport from the kitchen to the rooms. It says it is 8 inches diameter. I get 8" Styrofoam plates which fit perfectly. Some frozen meals come with circular containers which fits too.

Overall happy with this purchase. Too early to tell as I haven’t tested it enough. It is small to hold a regular dinner plate; have to use a smaller plate. Depth is fine. Overall it is well made and seems to be a good product.
