The vast majority of our camp cooking is done on an outside grill/griddle. We use the oven portion of our internal stove on occasion, but rarely the gas stovetop. This wood cover is not only aesthetic but provides additional counter space when set on the stovetop.The underside of the cover has non-slip material that won't allow the cover to move...at all! That being said, the cover also comes with attachments that can be custom-fit to set on the grill rails of your stovetop, though we did not find the need for them with ours.It is important to note that this cover is NOT designed to be a cutting board, so please don't buy it for that purpose.All in all, we are extremely pleased with this purchase and found the price to be very reasonable for the quality and usefulness of the cover. We had an oak one of these in our 2001 Alfa Ideal 5th wheel (actually, we STILL have it in that RV!). We always assumed Alfa made it special because they were a "luxury" brand, it fit on the grates perfectly, and was nice quality. Our 2015 Keystone Montana 5th wheel came with a piece of the counter that covered the stove, but our 2023 Jayco Greyhawk C-class motorhome just has a folding, tinted glass cover that scratches easily. We wanted something sturdier to protect the glass and give more counter space. We were so delighted to see the same stove cover we love from our Alfa available! We were considering making one, lol. We bought the bamboo this time to match a bamboo sink cover the rig came with. I just attached the rubber feet in the pilot holes without using the template and set it on the glass. Easy job. It looks great and we hope it holds up as well as our 22 year old one has!

This was a good addition to our RV Camper. The added counter space is nice to have. This piece is good quality and fits our stove top perfectly. The directions for installation were clear, concise, and simple to understand.

The folding metal cover on our Dometic 3 burner stove was a constant cause for frustration!!! We removed and discarded that folding metal cover and replaced it with the Camco Bamboo 43571 Stove Cover Silent Top. This bamboo top is perfect for adding counter space in our small trailer. The rubber feet on the bottom of the board fit snugly on the grate on the top of the burners. Yes, there is a lead warning on the package... The screws and washers that secure the rubber feet is where the lead is. NOT a cutting board for direct food contact, but comes with a thin plastic cutting sheet. Fits perfectly and looks good too! I like it!

Love this stove cover/cutting board! It is so much more sturdy than my glass cover and offers more much needed counter space in our camper. I would definitely recommend and buy this product again. We didn’t put the feet on it or take off the glass cover. We just set this right over the top of the glass stovetop cover and it work’s beautifully. Check it out if you want more counter space in your camper. 😊

We ordered this to give us more counter space in our RV. It is well made, looks nice, and the rubber feet fit snugly on the grill of the stove, holding it firmly in place while traveling. It fits the bill perfectly. The only issue we had is one mentioned by a previous reviewer (theClarks Dec 2015). If you have a Wedgewood Vision stove, the front of the template lines up perfectly. The back two holes on the template do not fit the grill of the stove. (Ours is 2 years old, so don't know if the design has changed since the template was made or if the template is just off.) We did as the previous reviewer suggested and just turned the wooden top upside down (nonskid backing on top) with the stove grill on top of that, marked where the back two holes should be and drilled them. The template has predrilled holes for the following stoves: Wedgewood Vision, Magic Chef 3 burners, Magic Chef 4 burners, Wedgewood 3 &4 burners, and Suburban 3 burners. However, I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product even if your stove is not one of the ones that have predrilled holes. It's not that difficult to do and I think this product is far superior to the one that only has the nonskid backing and not the rubber feet as this one does.

This is the second one I have purchased. Predrilled to fit almost any RV stove. Comes with the screws and a map to show your stove top and which predrilled hole to insert the pegs into. The wood was dry and felt splinterish, but I oiled it with olive oil a few times and now it feels great. Stays in place even down rough roads and doesn't rattle. I don't cut directly on the wood, I use the plastic cutting board it came with or an additional board to cut on. I use it more for additional counter space and to keep things from falling through the stove while prepping.

We wanted to replace our old metal RV range top cover, with something that fits and looks better. This item fits our needs very well.Not only does it look and fits great, but it doesn't sound like tin cans rattling in our kitchen area.We've also increased our counter and work space, which improves the overall ascetics.My husband was very impressed how easy it was to install.
